N Bain
Canadian Certified Counselor, MA
I believe that every person is unique, and no two stories are the same. I tailor my approach to the unique needs of my clients while using compassion, empathy, and respect to build a therapeutic relationship. It is important that our sessions involve collaboration from a client centered approach, as you are the driver on this journey, and I am the guide. I enjoy working with diverse therapeutic techniques including but not limited to cognitive behavioural therapy, talk-therapy, mindfulness, and solution-focused. I am an active learner always looking to expand my knowledge and skills to better serve my clients’ needs.

I have a Nursing degree, a Bachelor’s degree majoring in both Sociology and Child Studies, and a Master’s degree in counselling psychology. With over 10 years of experience in the educational system, I have worked in daycares with families from low-socioeconomic neighbourhoods and volunteered in schools with children experiencing developmental delays. This has contributed to my experience in mental health, working with individuals who experience the feeling of being different, as well in helping parents with children who have been labelled in this way or who are going through the everyday life struggles of being a parent. I have worked with individuals with a wide range of concerns including (but not limited to) anxiety, stress, depression and other mood issues, emotion-regulation, and self-esteem.

I hope that we can connect and embark on your mental health journey to overcome the obstacles together.

Through online video therapy, we have booked 9500+ sessions and have helped several clients all over Canada. Book a free consultation with one of our therapists to see how we can help you grow
